Rev. Virginia Ann "Annie" Brown, 56, of 4900 Weddington Road, Concord, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010. |
|
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Barbara Wilson and the Rev. Paul Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. |
|
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of her mother, Gwyn Hoke, 309 Rogers Lake Road, East, Kannapolis. |
|
Born March 3, 1953 in Luton, England, she was the daughter of Gwyneira Lloyd Hoke and the late Alvin Meloy Hoke. She was a homemaker and pastor of Church of God of the Bible Mission Outreach in Kannapolis. |
|
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Alan Hoke. |
|
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Wayne Brown; two daughters, Stephanie Sifuentes and husband, Jesus, of Dobson, Tammy Brown and husband, Paul Bare, of Concord; mother, Gywneira Lloyd Hoke of Kannapolis; one sister, Lana Kennedy and husband, Tim, of Davidson; two brothers, Michael Hoke and wife, Diane, of Kannapolis; Steven Hoke and wife, Tammy, of China Grove; and five grandchildren, Bruce Stirewalt, Ryan Stirewalt, Jesse Sifuentes, Ole Sifuentes and Alexis Sifuentes. |
