I played for Coach Sellari in the 70’s. It was a privilege to experience his coaching, and as student of his in school, I appreciated and respected how he prepared us for our future. Rest In Peace Coach. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family in this most difficult time.
From 1970 to 1975 I worked with Tony at Burrell High School. I always found him to be a man of integrity, with a strong work ethic, and caring for his students and athletes. My condolences and respect go out to his family. Charlene Tromby Lindner
I had the honor of playing for Coach in the late 70s at Burrell. He was a great teacher of not only basketball skills but life skills and values. He expected perfection and got the best out of you as a player. Much respect for the man and his legacy.
He and Mrs. Sellari raised a great family and my heart goes to the entire Sellari family at this tough time.

Wadesboro North Carolina would be the site of It's A Wonderful Life (The movie) and The Coach would be the George Bailey, making our town great. Had we missed that window of opportunity to be loved and coached by him, we would have been Pottersville USA. Most of all, he was a man after God's Own Heart, never showing his frustration without a righteous explanation. We will meet again! I'm going to miss Mr. Sellari I knew this family since I was 5. Dodi from my kindergarten swimming lessons and Mr. Sellari from gym class and his cotton candy was an annual tradition growing up.

In writing my post in the memory section, I have mispelled Coach's name and when I try to correct the spelling, I somehow get an auto correct of SELLER. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT BUT I WANTED THE FAMILY TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM. SORRY.
