Johnny Wayne Warr

Mr. Johnny Wayne Warr, 58, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor James Pauley will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Warr was born July 7, 1963 in Laurinburg. He was a son of Elizabeth Leviner Warr of Laurinburg and the late James Alton Warr. Johnny loved and supported his grandchildren during their functions. He enjoyed all types of sports. Johnny was known to be a sports encyclopedia. He loved the beach - especially Carolina Beach. Mr. Warr worked for Frank Honeycutt Furniture Store in sales.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Warr.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Warr is survived by his wife, Donna Lorene Tutterow Warr; five children, Natisha Sanchez and husband Tereso of Salisbury, Jonathan Warr of Rockwell, and Patricia Ashby, Lisa Ashby, and Michelle Ashby, all of Kannapolis; two sisters, Debbie Norris and husband Kenny and Lisa Lee and husband Johnny, both of Laurinburg; three brothers, James Warr of China Grove and Steve Warr and Kenny Warr and wife Brandie, both of Laurinburg; and seven grandchildren, Elisa Sanchez, Leslie Sanchez, Alexis Warr, Hailey Sanchez, Olivia Sanchez, Brandy Allen and Rylan Warr.
