Linda Burchfield Reavis

Linda Ann Burchfield Reavis, 60, of 1110 Bethpage Road, Kannapolis, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor A. Mechelle Massey officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Kimberly Cook, 605 Leonard Avenue, Kannapolis. Born March 19, 1946 in Magnolia, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Sneed Burchfield and Doris Thornton Rudd. She retired as an over-edger in the Washcloth Department of Cannon Mills, Plant One. She was a member of the House of Prayer Church and was a minister in the Freewill Baptist Church denomination. Survivors include her husband, Billy Franklin Reavis, Sr.; four daughters, Donna Reavis of the home, Kimberly Reavis Cook of Kannapolis, Pamela Cormier of Texas and Melinda Burchfield of Louisiana; two sons, Billy Reavis, Jr. of Kannapolis and Paul Maddox of West Lake, Louisiana; two sisters, Peggy Burchfield and Diana Burchfield, both of Cleveland, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
