Monica Lynn Jackson Foster

Mrs. Monica Lynn Jackson Foster, 48, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at Carolinas Continue Care Hospital at Pineville.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 pm Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Mrs. Foster was born August 24, 1973 in Riverside, CA. She was the daughter of Gail Davis Jackson and the late Royce Dalvin Jackson. She was of the Lutheran faith. She graduated with a BA from Pfeiffer College in English-Writing Studies with minors in Journalism and Philosophy. In earlier years, she worked as a Journalist, Life Coach, Disability Advocate and Motivational Speaker through her business, Butterflywheel Motivation Advocacy and Consulting LLC. She was also a past Governor’s Appointee to the NC State Independent Living Council and also Appointee to the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities. In her younger years, she won the Junior Ms. Wheelchair North Carolina title.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bryan Foster.
