Randy Leslie Wallace

Mr. Randy Leslie Wallace, 51, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2016, at Faith Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Rev. James Pauley will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Monday at Faith Baptist Church.

Mr. Wallace was born October 21, 1964 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Clarence and Virginia Wallace. He worked in commercial construction and was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved to make people laugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Derek Wallace, Stanley Wallace and Jeffery Wallace; sister, Robin Wallace; and a niece Brianne Wallace.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his longtime companion of 26 years, Star Newsome; daughter, Amanda Newsome of China Grove; son, Eric Newsome of Tampa, FL; brother, Roy Wallace of Arkansas; four grandchildren, E.J. Newsome, Brandon Newsome, Andrianna Newsome and Kinsley Griffin; and four nieces and eight nephews.
