Richard Steve Mesimer

Mr. Richard Steve Mesimer, 76, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, May 3, 2021, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Curtis Parker will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The service will also be live streamed here: www.ladysfuneralhome.com/live.

Mr. Mesimer was born September 12, 1944 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Terry Doyle Mesimer and Alma Smith Mesimer. He loved his family and all of his animals.

Mr. Mesimer is survived by son, Richard Derrick Mesimer of Concord; two daughters, Angela Jarvis and husband Ray of China Grove and Karen Mesimer of Mooresville; brother, Terry Doyle Mesimer, Jr. and wife Pat of Concord; three sisters, Carol M. Plott and Beckey Hargett, both of Kannapolis, and Kathy Dayvault and husband Bobby of Concord; four grandchildren, Brittany and Matthew Morgan and Michael and Savannah Mesimer; and one great grandchild, Kaiden McMillan.
