For Sherry, there was nothing more important or precious than family. Her children and their children were the center of her life. Sherry would – and did – do anything for them. Her generosity and affection were endless. Sherry would burst with pride at each accomplishment no matter how large or small, like when her son Vernon landed a great job or her granddaughter Taylor received her driver’s license. Her heart also broke with the inevitable setbacks that life brings us, but they made her stronger and more resolved to move forward. And Sherry’s love for family extended well beyond her own. She genuinely cared for and was interested in everyone’s family. She saw me through the birth of my own three children and oohed and aahed at countless pictures as they grew and was usually the first to purchased over-priced wrapping paper for their school fund-raisers.
My deepest sympathy to Sherry’s family, but rest assured that you were her greatest treasurers!
