Bobby Eugene Messer

Mr. Bobby Eugene Messer, 73, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm, Monday, September 24, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Smith will offiicate.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:00 pm at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mr. Messer was born on May 10, 1939 in Kannapolis. He was the son of Beulah Boyd Messer andthe late Arthur Messer. He was a member of Royal Oaks Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Hilda Ingram Messer; daughter, Michelle Linthicum of Kannapolis; sons, Michael Beaver and wife Pam of Rockwell and Randy Yates and wife Jamie of Salisbury; brother, Arthur Messer, Jr. of Kannapolis; sisters, Linda Hamrick of Gastonia and Shirley Frasier of Kannapolis; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his loyal loving companion dog, Victoria.
