Ada Levonda Jordan Griffin

Mrs. Ada Levonda Jordan Griffin, 85, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at her residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Ralph Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Griffin was born May 31, 1931 in Franklin County, GA. She was a daughter of the late Harvey Jordan and Verba Chastain Jordan. She retired from Cannon Mills as a time keeper in Plant #1 after 48 years. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Heath Griffin; son, Ricky Griffin; three brothers, Dalton Jordan, Teddy Jordan, and Donald Jordan; sister, Louneil Jordan; and one grandson, Robbie Griffin.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by son, Randy Griffin and wife Judy of Kannapolis; three brothers, Ned Jordan and wife Glenda of China Grove, Terry Jordan of Cooleemee and Vernon Jordan and wife Michelle of China Grove; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
