Betty Lou Sipe Morton

Mrs. Betty "Lou" Sipe Morton, 76, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morton was born October 6, 1941 in Iredell County. She was a daughter of the late P. W. Sipe and Ethel Petrea Sipe. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Concord. She enjoyed cross stitching and working cross word puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ray Harold Morton; and brother, Bobby Sipe.

Mrs. Morton is survived by two step-children, Carol Morton Workman and husband Charles of Concord and Donald Ray Morton and wife Dana; one sister, Toby Sipe Lowery of China Grove; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
