Charles David Coram

Mr. Charles “David” Coram, 74, passed away peacefully with a loved one by his side Sunday, August 6, 2017, in the Liberty Lane Hospice at the W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Concord.

Mr. Coram was born December 1, 1942 in Madison County, KY. He was the son of the late Dorman Coram and Norma June Norris Hatley. He was a retired Army Veteran. David loved to travel abroad, read, fish, and was a great jokester. He was a great cook and a very positive person. He loved sports, including tennis and NASCAR.

David is survived by a sister, Debra Coram of North Myrtle Beach, SC; his companion of many years, Rita Collins, and her daughter, Amber and her sons, Bruce, Jon and Matt Mobray.
