Colleen Kennedy

Mrs. Colleen Kennedy, 89 years old, of Kannapolis, North Carolina, passed on to the next life on December 8, 2018, Bryan, Texas where she was residing with her sister Pearl Holshouser Remstedt.

Colleen’s funeral will be held at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

Colleen was born February 22, 1929 in China Grove. She was a daughter of the late Baxter Holshouser and Mary Ellen Bostian Holshouser. She graduated from Landis High School. Colleen resided most of her 89 years in Kannapolis, where she was married to George Kennedy.

In addition to her parents, Colleen is preceded in death, by her husband, George Kennedy; and her brother, Earl Holshouser.

She is survived by her older sister, Pearl Remstedt; niece, Patricia Remstedt Green; great niece, Shelley; great nephew, Brian, as well as great-great nieces, Sophie, Hannah, and Mackenzie.

We are eternally grateful for the time on earth we had with her. Colleen will be missed beyond words.
