Jean Ellen Smith Roberts

Mrs. Jean Ellen Smith Roberts, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at her home in Kannapolis.

A graveside visitation is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Roberts was born February 23, 1939 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Earl Smith and Lily Plyler Smith Faggart. She retired from Kannapolis City Schools where she was the District Finance Officer.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by husband, Richard Roberts; two daughters, Cassie Holbrook and husband Brian and Andrea Ward; three sons, Todd Pless and wife Karen, Craig Pless and wife Susan and Mark Roberts and wife Teresa; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
