Jeanette Ross

Mrs. Hattie Jeanette Ollivett Ross, 87, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, January 16, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ross was born December 11, 1929 in Clinton Corners, NY. She was the daughter of the late Harry Ollivett, Sr. and Marguerite Cassedy Ollivett. She worked for AT&T as a service representative.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Vincent Ross.

Mrs. Ross is survived by one sister, Edith Kline of Hyde Park, NY; three daughters, Kathleen “Kathy” Kuhn and husband Robert of Dillsburg, PA, Eileen Smith and husband David of Fayetteville and Cynthia Bowen and husband Brian of Salisbury; son, John Ross and wife Philomena of Cornwall On Hudson, NY; four grandchildren, Haley Kuhn, Larissa Ross, Erik Kuhn and Ian Ross; and several nieces and nephews.
