Jeffery Lynn Brotherton

Mr. Jeffery Lynn Brotherton, 68, went to be with his Lord Friday, September 22, 2023, in China Grove.

A funeral service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Sexton and Rev. Richie Honeycut will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Brotherton was born May 11, 1955 in Iredell County. He was a son of the late James M. Brotherton, Jr. and Norma Tutterow Brotherton. Mr. Brotherton graduated from South Rowan in 1973. He was a member of and formerly attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kannapolis where he was a Deacon. He then went to Landis Baptist Church until his health began to decline. Mr. Brotherton loved his dog Jazzy, who was his little girl. He loved fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, his family and friends, and his Shelby GT Mustang.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Hanna Michele Brotherton; and sister, Donna Brotherton Pope.

Mr. Brotherton is survived by his wife, Donna Lynn Bost Brotherton; brother, Michael Wayne Brotherton; sister-in-law, Trena Brotherton; and brother-in-law, Ray Glenn Pope, Jr.
