Kenda Burr White

Kenda Lane Burr White, 57, of 2523 Joyce Street, Kannapolis, died Thursday, September 14, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Westside Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Charles Savage and the Rev. Mark White will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born May 18, 1949, in Concord, she was the daughter of the late John L. Burr and Esther Allene Pendry Burr. She was a flight attendant for Mesa Airlines. Survivors include a daughter, Angie Cook of China Grove; one son, Dwayne Drye of Kannapolis; four step-sons, Tim White of Salisbury, Mark White and Brian White, both of China Grove, and Richie White of Kannapolis; a sister, Jonda Patterson of Charlotte; half-sister, Florence Hunter of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Hannah Cook, Michael Crainshaw and Cameron Drye; eight step-grandchildren, Cody White, Joseph Cook, Matthew White, Dylan White, Christy Nowak, Kayla White, Julia White and Sarah White; and two special friends, Lewis White and James Reynolds. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Boy Scout Camp Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081 in memory of Ms. White.
