Lavonne Philemon Hunt

Mrs. LaVonne Philemon Hunt, 78, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020, at her home in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hunt was born October 26, 1941 in Mecklenburg County. She was a daughter of the late Floyd Philemon and Mary Allen Philemon. Mrs. Hunt retired from Sonnys's BBQ and loved being with all of her family and friends and cooking for them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank David Hunt, Sr.; son, Frank "Frankie" David Hunt, Jr.; and sister, Shirley Holland.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by two daughters, Wanda Pataky and husband Robbey of Mooresville and Tammy Carroll and husband Charles of Chester, SC; two sons, Eldon Dale Elliott of Fort Mill, SC and Bronson Leo Hunt of Kannapolis; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; and sister, Brenda Goode and husband Ronnie of Forest City.
