Michael Lane Sartain

Mr. Michael Lane Sartain, 60, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at his home in Kannapolis.

Mr. Sartain was born August 4, 1958 in Concord. He was a son of Raie Ann Jones Sartain of Kannapolis and the late Watson Odell Sartain, Sr. He was employed at Wal-Mart in Kannapolis and formerly worked in Cannon Mills.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Sartain is survived by two sons, Jesse M. Sartain and wife Katie and Daniel M. Sartain, all of Kannapolis; a brother, Watson Odell Sartain, Jr. and wife Ann of Kannapolis; two sisters, Lois Bowles of Kannapolis and Marilyn Holman and husband Anthony of Mocksville; and a granddaughter, Lillie Kate Sartain.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
