Ramona Allen Woods Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Ramona Allen Woods, 88, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, August 8, 2022, at Centerview Baptist Church. Rev. Willie Rash will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Monday at Centerview Baptist Church. Mrs. Woods was born January 22, 1934 in Chesterfield County, SC. She was a daughter of the late David Preston Allen and Nezzie McManus Allen. She retired from Day Enterprises where she was the Office Manager. She was a longtime active member of Centerview Baptist Church where she was also a former choir member for many years. Ramona loved to paint and do crafts. She was honored and loved by all of her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Elliotte Woods. Mrs. Woods is survived by her daughter, Mona Woods Eudy of Kannapolis; son, Mike Woods and wife Becca Russell of Kannapolis; one sister, Voncille Randolph of Wilmington; one grandson, Marc Woods and wife Kim; two great grandchildren, Brae Woods and Ty Woods; two honorary great grandsons, Gabe Eudy, Hunter Eudy; and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Centerview Baptist Church, 415 Walter Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
