Rodney Palmer Price

Rodney Palmer Price passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Price was born on August 15, 1931 in Charleston, WV. He was the son of the late Toby and Elizabeth Fisher Price. Rodney Price was an Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War from 1951-1954. He was an active member of the Sampson AFB VET Assoc. Mr. Price was an employee of GE for 38 years. He was an influential and integral part of the Marketing Division.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pearl P. Elkins.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria W. Price; son, Rodney P. Price II; daughters, Judith Ramsey-Price, Tobie A. Barsalou and Robin P. Scott; sons-in-law, Bernie Barsalou and Charles Scott; step-daughters, Susan Woolridge and Lisa Smith; brother, Toby N. Price; sister, Jeannette Jones; grandchildren, Timothy Shelton, Leah & Kristin Arthur, Bernard Barsalou II, Brian Barsalou, Aimee Newman and Jon Colley; great-grandchildren, Madisenne, Jaydon, Brynn, Makayla, William and Brian, Jr.
