Addie Johnson Earp

Mrs. Addie Johnson Earp, 84, a resident of Brian Center died Sunday, January 13, 2008. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Charles Efird and the Rev. Mike Parks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service. Mrs. Earp was born in Cabarrus County on August 8, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Charles Johnson and Mary Mesimer Johnson. She retired from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan R. Earp and her ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, John Hinson and wife, Barbara, of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Jessica Turner and Jennifer Webb; five great-grandchildren, Jordan Webb, Jesie Webb, Jace Webb, Isaac Turner and Caroline Turner.
