Mr. Albert Frank Farmer, born on March 18, 1928 in Bluefield, WV, passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Salisbury.
He and his wife lived in Bluefield, WV until moving to Kannapolis in 1964.
He started his career as a police officer in Bluefield before transitioning into a successful career in the trucking industry at Watkins Motor Lines and TMX Trucking.
Frank was the loving husband of the late Clara Purdue Farmer. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Frank Albert "Butch" Farmer, Jr.; and a daughter, Pamela G. Farmer.
Frank is survived by his granddaughter, Courtney Garner Alexander and husband Brian; and two grandchildren, Kensington and Abigail Alexander. He is also survived by Beth and Tim Stilwell and the Stilwell family.
A memorial service celebrating his life is scheduled for 6:00 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate.
