Albert Denny Keaton, 78, of Kannapolis, NC passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a brief illness with pancreatic and liver cancer. Denny was born on August 7, 1945 in Cabarrus County and was preceded in death by his late wife Terry Rebecca Fisher Keaton, mother Ruby Watts Furr; father, C. M. Keaton, sister Barbara K. Baucom, half-brothers Rick Fleming, Frank and D. M. Keaton. As a 1965 graduate of A. L. Brown High School, Denny continued his education at Rowan Cabarrus Community College where he earned his associate’s degree in Mechanical Drafting. He was of the Baptist affiliation, a veteran of the National Guard and an active member of the Beaver-Pittman American Legion Post 115 in Kannapolis. He retired from UCS Lincolnton in 2012 where he worked in Drafting. His family and friends remember his love for family, cars and his hobby of restoring antique radios. His family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:45pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Lady’s Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life and love of Denny Keaton will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Steve Leigh. Burial will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Denny is survived by two children; daughter, Anita Blevins (James), son, Scott Keaton (Nicole); grandchildren, Kayla Safrit, Matthew Safrit, Nathan Reynolds, Ayden Blevins, Asher Blevins, Pheobe Keaton, Rylan Keaton; great grandchildren, Kardeiz Murray and Jelyssa Washington; sister, Patricia McManus.; half-sisters, Anisa, Anna and Lisa Keaton; half-brothers, Don and Eric Keaton and Ron Eaton; step-father, William Furr; nephews, James Linn, Tim and Jon McManus; and long time significant other, Karen Tiffin,
