Mrs. Alline Hodge Davidson, 82, of 624 North Main Street, died Friday, December 31, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday at First Evangelical Methodist Church. Rev. David Hayes and Rev. Mike Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The body will remain at Lady's Funeral Home until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of a grandson, Brandon S. Lee, 1045 Naomi Court, Kannapolis. Mrs. Davidson was born November 13, 1922 in Chesterfield, SC. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Hodge and Effie Boan Hodge. She retired several years ago from the #6 Weave Room of Cannon Mills Plant One. She was a member of First Evangelical Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Kirby Davidson, who died October 29, 1976; a son, William Junior Davidson; two sisters, Annie Jane "Jessie" Tucker and Mary Ellen Norman; and six brothers, William Hodge, Knoxie Hodge, Leroy Hodge, Wilford Hodge, J.D. Hodge and Clyde Hodge. Mrs. Davidson is survived by a daughter, Mary Catherine Lee, and her husband, Leonard J. Lee, of China Grove; two grandsons, Steven M. Lee of Kannapolis, Brandon S. Lee and his wife, Sabrina, of Kannapolis; three great grandchildren, Megan Davidson, Zachary S. Lee, and Zoie A. Lee.
