Angela "Angie" Miller Safrit, 33, of 418 Kingfield Drive, Concord, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 13, 2005, following a courageous battle with cancer. A graveside service with interment to follow will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Raymond Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home in Kannapolis. At other times they will be at the home of her parents, Jimmy and Phyllis Miller, 6744 Plyler Road, Kannapolis. Born May 12, 1972, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of Jimmy Lance Miller and Phyllis Rutledge Miller. She was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School and graduated with two degrees from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was employed as a revenue accountant with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Angie was a devoted mother and attended Solid Rock Worship Center. Survivors include her husband, Scott Eugene Safrit; a daughter, Rachel McKenna Safrit of the home; her parents, Jimmy L. Miller and Phyllis R. Miller of Kannapolis; and maternal grandmother, Clara Kidd of Kannapolis. Memorials may be sent to Solid Rock Worship Center, 3000 Centergrove Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
