Annie Phine Blanchard-Norman

Ms. Annie Phine Blanchard-Norman, 76, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Huntersville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Huntersville.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Lindley "Ray" Joyner, Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Saturday prior to the service.

Ms. Blanchard-Norman was born March 6, 1945 in Eutawville, SC. She was a daughter of the late William Blanchard and Isabell Goodine Blanchard. Ms. Blanchard-Norman attended Roberts High School in Holly Hill, SC. Upon graduating high school, Ann moved to Elmsford, NY. She began a career in health care at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY. Being a loving caregiver, she worked in hospitals and nursing facilities providing care and comfort to those in need. She moved to NC in 1982 and continued her career in health care services at Brian Center and Britthaven Nursing facilities in Windsor and Edenton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice B. Ellis; and four brothers, William Blanchard Jr., Luther Blanchard, John Blanchard, George Bannister.

Ms. Blanchard-Norman is survived by two daughters, Hilary Norman-Kilgo and Julie Outlaw; two sons, Aaron Norman, Sterlis Norman, Jr.; four sisters, Cathy Harrison, Rebecca Edney, Sarah Price, Lois Johnson; two brothers, Isaac Blanchard, Charles Blanchard; and a step-daughter, Penny Bell; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
