Annie Mae Goodwin Ranson

Mrs. Annie Mae Goodwin Ranson, 66, of 410 Pinewood Street, Kannapolis, died Monday, May 10, 2004, at her residence, following a serious illness of two years. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stephen Burrow will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born May 14, 1937 in Chesterfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Levi Goodwin and Ola Joplin Goodwin. Survivors include her husband, James Lee Ranson; a daughter, Jamie Sisk and her husband, Herb, of Kannapolis; a son, Jimmy Ranson and his wife, Teresa, of Kannapolis; a sister, Elizabeth Suskey of Kannapolis; a brother, Robert Goodwin of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Tommy Ranson and Ginny Dutton; and a special nephew, Tom Foster. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church of Enochville, 2308 Davis Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or Hospice of Rowan County, 825 West Henderson Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
