Annie Belle Lipe

Mrs. Annie Belle Stanton Lipe, 86, formerly of Sycamore Avenue in Kannapolis, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, November 6, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service on Monday. Born July 17, 1920, in Dillon, SC, Mrs. Lipe was the daughter of the late Luther Stanton and Maggie McLemore Stanton. She retired from Cannon Mills after more than 50 years of employment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer James Lipe, who died October 5, 2004. Survivors include her son, James Danny Lipe and wife, Gail, of Cherryville; two grandsons, Sgt. Kenneth Christopher Lipe and his wife, a beloved granddaughter-in-law, Candace Alexander Lipe, of Ft. Bragg, and Sgt. James Andrew Cockrell of Maryland.
