Mrs. Annie Mae Torrence Love, 79, of 1004 Cedar Creek Road, Kannapolis, died Monday, February 21, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at Rodgers Park Baptist Church. The Rev. Tony Fox will officiate. Interment will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at their respective homes. Born September 12, 1925, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Stamey Emmet Torrence and Carrie Mae Gardner Torrence. She retired from the Spinning Room of Cannon Mills, Plant One in Kannapolis. She was a member of Rodgers Park Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard White Love, Sr., on December 28, 2004, and a daughter, Debra Jean Love, in October 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Ann Hatley of Concord and Linda Jo Love of Raleigh; four sons, James Lewis Adcock of Midland, Preston Eugene Adcock of Pageland, SC, Richard Love, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant and Randy Lee Love of Concord; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Rodgers Park Baptist Church, 309 East 24th Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083
