Annie Troutman Thompson

Ms. Annie Troutman Thompson, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 6 at Franklin Heights Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Grigg and Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Friday, July 5, 2013, at Lady's Funeral Home.

Ms. Thompson was born on February 12, 1936 in Stanly County. She was a daughter of the late William J. Troutman and Nellie Heglar Troutman. She retired from the Towel Design Department of Cannon Mills. Ms. Thompson was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church.

Ms. Thompson is survived by her sister, Mamie T. Burgess of Richmond, VA; niece, Vicky Watson and husband Ronnie of Richfield; Shawn Watson of Raleigh, Shay, Jon and Saylor Vitale of Fort Mill SC; and other nieces and nephews.
