Asa Robert Morgan

Mr. Asa Robert Morgan, 75, of 599 Englewood Street NE, Concord, died Wednesday, January 28, 2004, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Marion Fulk will officiate. Born November 10, 1928, in Concord, he was a son of the late Lane Morgan and Lizzy Dallie Deese Morgan. Mr. Morgan retired from Cannon Mills Company as a quality control supervisor. He was a member of Royal Oaks Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Gatton Morgan. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbye M. Casper and her husband Mike, and Jolynn Morgan, all of Concord; two sisters, Florence Fisher and Lillie Mae Coley, both of Concord; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
