Azellia Goodwin Westberry

Mrs. Azellia Goodwin Westberry, 70, of 1505 Jackson Street, Kannapolis, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Chuck Overcash will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born March 24, 1933, in Chesterfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Levi Goodwin and the late Ola Joplin Goodwin. She was a retired employee of Cannon Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister when she was a child, Dorothy Lee Goodwin. Survivors include two sons, James Westberry and Thomas Foster, both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Annie Mae Ranson and Elizabeth Suskey, both of Kannapolis; and one brother, Robert Goodwin of Kannapolis.
