Bannah Greenway Green

Mrs. Bannah "Pat" Iduma Greenway Green, 89, formerly of Brantley Road in Kannapolis, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Transitional Heath Services of Kannapolis. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dave Cash will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a step-son, Leroy Green, 1304 S. Juniper Street, Kannapolis. Born February 17, 1914, in Cherrylog, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin Greenway and Ada Lucinda Allen Greenway. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Leroy Green, Sr., who died in 1991. Survivors include a step-daughter, Sherry G. Therrell of Kannapolis; two step-sons, Leroy Green of Kannapolis and Conley "Gene" Green of Cornelius; a sister, Billie G. Hunt of Wilmington; 11 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren and 21 step-great-great-grandchildren.
