Barbara Milam Campbell

Mrs. Barbara Milam Campbell, 63, of 5265 Enochville School Road, China Grove, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stephen Burrow will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the residence. Born November 16, 1944, in Spartanburg, SC, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late James Fred Milam and Lucy Bell Mills Milam. A graduate of A.L. Brown High School and North State Business College, she formerly worked at Cannon Mills as a timekeeper in the sewing room, and later as a file clerk in the supply room. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Enochville. Survivors include her husband, Murry Reid Campbell, Sr. of the home; son, Reid Campbell, Jr. of Charlotte; two sisters, Jane Haney and Trisha Moss, both of Kannapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
