Barbara Jo Myrick Ewing

Mrs. Barbara Jo Myrick Ewing, 66, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, June 16, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joey Spry will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ewing was born June 17, 1950 in Monterey, CA. She was a daughter of the late James David Myrick and Georgia Lee Butts Seagraves. She previously worked for Linn-Corriher Mills in Landis and retired from Rowan Mills in Salisbury where she worked as a spinner. Barbara loved life and enjoyed traveling to the beach and especially the mountains.

Mrs. Ewing is survived by her husband, Tony L. Ewing; son, Jason Lee Ewing (Pam) of Salisbury; two sisters, Sharon Myrick and Diane Speight (Max), all of Landis; and her granddaughter, Brittny Mielke (Khyle) of Statesville.
