Barry Wayne Ragan

Mr. Barry Wayne Ragan, 65, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4:00 pm Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Ragan was born June 10, 1959 in Rowan County. He was a son of the late Charles Eugene Ragan and Brenda Mabry Hudson. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Barry also enjoyed playing his guitar, and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Billy Bare; and two brothers, Charles and Kevin Ragan.

Mr. Ragan is survived by his wife, Amanda Ellen Bare Ragan; four children, Heather Swaringer of Salisbury, William "Tony" Bare of Lexington, Amy Maddle of Havelock, and Angel Pinkston of Stuart, VA; sister, Carolyn Heath of Salisbury; brother, Michael Ragan of Salisbury; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
