Beatrice Cates Mull

Mrs. Beatrice Cates Mull, 91, of 7471 Epworth Drive, Brooksville, FL, and formerly of Kannapolis, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. Dr. Forbis Kivett will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born July 15, 1912 in Henderson, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Carl Cates and Lucy Shoeley Cates. Mrs. Mull was a homemaker and a member of First Wesleyan Church in Kannapolis. She lived in Kannapolis for 75 years until she moved to Brooksville in November 2002. Survivors include a son, Marlin Mull of Brooksville, FL; a sister, Margaret Russell of Kannapolis; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
