Bernice Sartain Bullington

Mrs. Bernice Sartain Bullington, 56, of 1409 Due West Street, died, Monday, October 2, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Unity Baptist Church. Rev. Tommy Wensil will officiate. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Mrs. Bullington was born January 18, 1950 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of Faye Patterson Sartain of Kannapolis and the late Robert Ervin Sartain. She was a registered nurse and supervisor for Britthaven in Kannapolis until she retired in 2002 due to her health. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Bernice is survived by two daughters, Teresa Owens and Gay Perez and husband, Gonzalo, all of Kannapolis; two sons, Homer Bullington and wife, Dionza, of Clayton, GA and Anthony Bullington of Kannapolis; two sisters, Vickie S. Teal of China Grove and Janice S. Thomas of Kannapolis; two brothers, Jack Sartain of China Grove and Roger Sartain of Rimertown; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
