Bernice Louise Link

Mrs. Bernice Louise Craig Link, 82, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015, at her residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Utley will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:15 pm Thursday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Link was born July 8, 1932 in Athens, GA. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Pitchford Craig and Mira Barnett Craig. She retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon where she worked in the Towel Department. She was a lifelong Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Link; two sisters, Virginia Wright and Ollie Doster; and four brothers, Ambrie Craig, Barrett Craig, Hoyle Craig and Lonnie Craig.

Mrs. Link is survived by her daughter, Regina Evans of Kannapolis; two sisters, Clara Jane Leffew and Mary Donaldson, both of Landis; brother, Gene Craig of Faith; granddaughter, Lisa M. Goodman; and two great grandsons, Braden Harrington and Ian Harrington.
