Our love, thoughts, and prayers will be with you all. I know this is a very hard time. My mother has now been gone two years. May God give you great comfort in this very difficult time. We love you. Kathryn and Dave Bowden
I've known Reverend and Mrs. Cody since they came to pastor Mt. Mitchell when I was a little boy in the '60's. Through the years circumstances have brought our families together time and again. All that time Bertha Cody has remained a constant - never changing. Her kind spirit, calming demeanor and caring attitude will never be forgotten by those she has touched as she translated her Christianity into everyday good deeds.
Thank you, Bertha Cody, for a true example of a Christian lady. You are admired by the many people you have touched by your example. (And by the way, I'll never see a beautiful knitted sweater without thinking of you!)

Danny and Raychel, Our condolences on the loss of Mrs. Cody. She was always so nice and gracious when I had the opportunity to see her. She will be missed greatly.
Dear Danny, Raychel,Kimberly, and Sara,
Raychel, I was sad to hear of your mothers death. It sounds as though it was very sudden. Now she is home, the place we all long for. Please know that my family and I have been thinking about you a lot. We will continue to pray that God will use this time in your life for his glory. In Christ's love, Amy Jones
