Betty Morgan Parrish

Mrs. Betty Morgan Parrish, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, 78, saved, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, August 5, 2017, at CMC - Main in Charlotte.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sammy Case will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Parrish was born February 11, 1939 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Walter Morgan and Annie McGraw Morgan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Cauble and Peggy Hooks; and a daughter, Shelia Johnson.

Mrs. Parrish is survived by her husband Owen S. Parrish; son, Kelly Morgan of Mt. Gilead; daughter Tanya Torrence of Concord; a brother, Earl Morgan and his wife Glois of Spartanburg, SC; sister Frances Irby of Pinehurst; six grandchildren, Misley Mullen, Eddie Hansley, Jr., Robert Ellis, Morgan Torrence, Jason Morgan and Brandon Morgan; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
