Betty Sue Parson
August 25, 1939 — October 4, 2015
Betty S. Parson, 76, gained her wings and went to her heavenly home Sunday, October 4, 2015.
She leaves behind six children, Laura and husband Steve Rodgers, Eunice and husband Bill Branton, Pete and wife Reta Parson, Ed and wife Sharon Parson, Betty and husband Jeff Davis, and Dolly and husband Chuck Brock. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, William, Teka, Samantha, Brittany, and Ashlyn; four great-grandchildren, Autumn, Bryson, Jackson, and Paisley; along with a special companion of years, James Douglas.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, October 9, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Trooper Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am Friday at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service.
