Betty Sue Payne Cline

Betty Sue Payne Cline, passed away peacefully Monday, May 16, 2022, at St. Andrews Assisted Living Center in Concord.

Betty was born September 24, 1924 to Zeb Wright Payne and Lillian Carpenter Payne. She was the last of a family of ten siblings. Betty was predeceased by her husband, John Wilson Cline. She worked for Cannon Mills, and lived in Kannapolis until 2010 when she came to reside at St. Andrews.

Betty is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews from at least three generations. She was descended from three Revolutionary War Patriots.

A private, graveside service will be held in the near future.
