Betty Lou Phillips Bridges

Mrs. Betty Lou Phillips Bridges, 73, of 606 East 10th Street, Kannapolis, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born September 28, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank Phillips and Mary Achers Phillips. She was a sales associate with Sears. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Concord Lions Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Otis Bridges, who died in 1994. She is survives by a daughter, Mary Lou Baldwin of Kannapolis; a son, Frank Westray of Norfolk, VA; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
