Beverly Cheek Brantley

Ms. Beverly Lynn Cheek Brantley, 41, of 1310 Lane Street, Kannapolis, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. Marler Starnes will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born July 21, 1962, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of Gilbert Cheek and Emma Sexton Cheek. She was a homemaker. A brother, Ricky Lee Cheek, preceded her in death on April 6, 2002. Survivors include her parents, Gilbert and Emma Sexton Cheek of Kannapolis; two daughters, Alisha Brantley of Concord and Megan Dixon of the home; a son, Justin Brantley of the home; one brother, Jimmy Leonard of Kannapolis; and a grandchild, Alexis Kee.
