Billie Pickett Beck

Mrs. Billie Pickett Beck, 80, of Plantation Road, NW, Concord, died Monday, April 5, 2010, at Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Larry Beaver will officiate. Inurnment will be later at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Lexington. Born January 25, 1930 in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late David Lee Pickett and Bertie Leigh Perrell Pickett. Mrs. Beck was a registered nurse. Survivors include seven daughters, Debra Hammond and husband Rodney of Cleveland, Donna Honeycutt, Karen Rufty and Kimberly Smith, all of Salisbury, Diane Reardon, Belinda Williamson and husband Billy, Elaine Holt and Kim, all of Concord; a son, Robert Beck of Charlotte; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
