Billie Jackson Kiker

Mrs. Billie Jackson Kiker, 84, a resident of Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis and formerly of Peachland, NC, died Friday, March 23, 2007, at the nursing center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at Peachland Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Allen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Peachland Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at the church. Born October 21, 1922, in Anson County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Clayton Jackson and Sarah German Jackson. She formerly owned and operated a beauty shop in Wadesboro. She was a member of Peachland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kiker, who died in 1984. Survivors include three nephews, Larry Hamilton and wife, Grace, of Kannapolis, Donald Hamilton and wife, Jo Elaine, of Mount Gilead, Thomas Jackson and wife, Jerri, of York, SC; and a niece, Joyce Jackson of York, SC.
