Billy Joe Edwards

Mr. Billy Joe Edwards, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Victory Temple in Concord. Rev. Gary Posey will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:.00 pm, Friday, at Victory Temple prior to the service.

Mr. Edwards was born on December 10, 1954 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of the late Charles Edward Edwards and Hazel Virginia Cross Edwards.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald C. Edwards.

He is survived by his sisters, Faye Edwards Bacon of Kannapolis and boyfriend Jeff McDaniels of China Grove and Tammy Wagoner and boyfriend Gary Benson both of Kannapolis; nephew, Charles Lefler of Kannapolis; nieces, Wanda Clark and Jacob of Kannapolis and Ginnie Gantt of Kannapolis and husband Leland Powers of SC; aunt and uncle, Carl Cross, Jr. and wife Ann of Salisbury.
