Billy D. Nesbitt

Mr. Billy D. Nesbitt, 67, formerly of Kannapolis passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013, at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN.

A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kristy Burnette will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 pm Friday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Nesbitt was born August 10, 1945 in Mooresville. He was a son of William A. Nesbitt and Elsie Murdock Nesbitt, both of Kannapolis. Billy graduated from A.L. Brown High School and was a member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. He retired in 2010 from Transport Service in Lafayette, IN, where he was a terminal manager. Billy enjoyed fishing.

He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Linda Hampton Nesbitt; daughter, Alisha N. Clark of Avon, IN and husband Jeremy; brother, Terry Nesbitt of Dallas, TX; and two grandchildren, Wyatt Clark and Connor Clark.
